This space is dedicated to my little sister Gaby, who turned 8 years old today, on september the 3rd. I dedicated a small poem/picture album to her.
A small poem for her (which is intended to be read along the title of each picture of the album) I will include over here:
Gabita Querida:
Te hemos visto chimuelita
Hasta un poco rotita
O con gestos bizarros
Y hasta enojada en el carro
Pero con tu hermosa carita,
Tu agradable sonrisa,
y tu fantástico humor
(o tu fingido rubor)
Siempre serás nuestra princesita
Y te daremos muchos abrazos.
Happy birthday Gaby, I love you!.
The ‘Gabita Querida’ webpage has been taken down. If you’d like a copy of the site, message me.
I tried to post something close to this the other day, but apparently it didn’t work. Here goes another attempt to post it…
I saw the pictures of your little sister and she looks absolutely precious. Baby sisters are great, aren’t they?
My little sister has just turned 16 and it makes you feel old when they start hitting those types of age milestones. Consider yourself warned!!
She’ll probably always look up to you, as well, which has it perks and its downfalls. Overall, though, little sisters make life much more enjoyable.
Ahh, thank you very much. I told her and she giggled.
Yep, baby sisters are ‘t3h shiznit’. I always look forward to coming back home after ‘school’ because of my little sister.
