I don’t want to kill you, its just that you’re too ugly to let live.
Well, I did my last bit of editing on the template… I still haven’t managed to popup the darned easy access blogger comments, but then again, it doesn’t matter. Now I have easy access conditional blog control elements (see Fig. 1.1) spanning for my easy administration of the blog. I think that… by just fixing this darned popup issue, I can finally relax and start posting quality content.

I think that’s what I have been looking for in my blog… for it to be ‘complete’…
Well, it’s been too much of a darned time. I still think this blog is a bit too heavy on Internet Explorer users, but Mozilla users can rejoice. =D
Yesterday, I wrote to the Blogger Developers, I hope they can come up with a neat function I’d like in order for me to add tags in here and stuff… (kind of like Flickr tags, and Technorati tags). They’re both taggin’ the web. I’d like to join in.
I found a minor bug in a script… I think that somehow the =P button spans a ’scrollbarless’ window… so, I think I’ll go at it again…
Well, enough rambling… time to fix that sh1t and then go to sleep. Gbyez you guys.
Ahh, I think that I will need to ask of you a favor, before I go… A friend of mine, Alexa, has asked of me and the other dudes and dudettes that read her blog (as a birthday present) to place a link to her blog, in order to raise her Technorati links.
So, I know you guys can do it, visit her blog… A New York Escorts Confessions, and if you like the blog… do place a link for http://www.nyhotties.com in your site/blog.
UPDATE: As Oso had pointed out, it’s quite odd that Blogger hasn’t come up with a nice function for this purpose.
When I wrote to the 1337 Blogger guys, I had started to work on such a javascript function… mainly for Technorati, but since I don’t have much expertise, I think I’ll need to work on the function a bit more.
Anyways, I’ll try to come up with a function, and I’ll keep you posted on details about the situation.
I decided to include a transcript of the post I sent to the Blogger help crew.
Hello dear blogger coders! I was wondering if, like the <$BlogItemURL$> tag, a <&BlogItemTags$> tag could be invented…
First off, you guys should check out http://www.technorati.com/help/tags.html
and
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~dcrombie/javascript/chap10.html
The function could contain two fields:
*In the first field, some tags can be added in a format like:
dog,cat,window shopping,internet
*In the second field, the pinging address (an incomplete URL) something like:
http://technorati.com/tag/
The objective is that when you place the <$BlogItemTags$> tag in the template, a set of links could be returned in the same format that they were placed: (the above example would return something like:
<a href=”http://technorati.com/tag/dog” rel=”tag”>dog</a>,<a href=”http://technorati.com/tag/cat” rel=”tag”>cat</a>,<a href=”http://technorati.com/tag/window+shopping” rel=”tag”>window shopping</a>,<a href=”http://technorati.com/tag/internet” rel=”tag”>internet</a>
If you look at my blog, the function could do really well in my tooltips =)
Well, but getting to serious matter, at first I thought that by using a simple javascript code, one could accomplish the same thing…
I hope the above suggestion is a feasible one…
