I hate that Mexicans get to be called Mexican and not generalized as Latin or Hispanic but anybody who is Irish, English, Norse, Canadian etc. is always just catagorized as white! We are never recognized by our nationality. That race crap is in this country. I don’t think this crap happens anywhere else. Our own govt. does that to us. And I will give him some credit to what he said. There will be no solid ethnicities left in 300 years because everybody is screwing everybody and everyone will be mixed!!! But hispanics will not be a dominant ethnicity. Have you noticed they can’t fight one on one they have to do everything in a pack. That right there shows that they are not dominant. I like mexicans(My best friend from high school is mexican. It’s the cholos I can’t stand!!!!

In your artcile, you promote the idea that Mexicans can not possibly be racist (“Ethnicity and race seem to not matter if you are of Mexican nationality”) and imply that maybe black people are just being a little too sensitive (“Are black people nowadays too defensive about their culture?”). Both of these ways of thinking are ignorant. And implying that black people are too sensitive is showing a disrespect for what they experience and possibly for them themselves. Or maybe you distrust their wisdom when they say they have experienced racism. Your recent statements are contradictory to what you expressed in your article.

I am half white and half black (but look very white, like Michael Jackson’s kids, and most people don’t really get that I’m half black unless I tell them outright) and have come across racism from Mexicans who find or figure out what I am, like I said. I’ve also witnessed it against other people.

Hi. I’m not racist. I’m just acquainted with African-american anti-slavery literature and I’m very conscious of the struggles they have faced. I’ve also seen and experienced racism myself. Here in Mexico, light-colored and light-skinned people seem to be favored against the ‘moreno’s.

The US is very ahead of us in that aspect.

This was one of the most ignorant articles I’ve ever read. Way to fail to disguise your disdain for black people.

And yes, many Mexians are very racist. I’ve witnessed it and been the victim of it myself many times, even recently. Face it.
