I just finished reading a funny recycled reader’s digest article — more of a joke, actually — that shows the stereotypical difference of the depth of thoughts between men and women.
After reading it, all I could think of was “Damn. I’ve been there, on both sides of the conversation; but I have fortunately changed my way of thinking and acting about it.”
I tried forming a catchy phrase from it:
If you try living your life the perfect way, you’re bound to end up discovering that great opportunities have been perfectly wasted.
And even in the form of an axiom:
Try living perfectly and you will perfectly fail.
Which I might as well say that can be rephrased in a trade-mark infringing quote: “Just Do It”.
Ok, for the sake of updating, here’s a brief recap of what’s been going on — in the form of a list:
- If life were Facebook, I’d say my relationship status is right now set to “It’s complicated”
- I gained, then lost 4 or 5 kilos after my injuring my knee; I currently weigh 88.7 kg.
- I had a go at swimming, and I’m liking it so far.
- I better get going, I’m a super sales star… and my lunch break is almost over.
